“Our business was started right here in Southern Illinois, and has grown here, thanks to a reliable workforce, competitive costs of doing business, and a unique location within close proximity to a majority of the United States,” said Todd Goodman, Owner of Timberline. “In addition, the region affords us and our employees an outstanding quality of life, with a focus on spending time on outdoor pursuits,” he added.

Timberline is also an industry leader in research and innovation, launching pre-packaged products, feeder insect nutrients, and scientifically tested, nutrient-dense products like Vita-Bugs and CalciWorms.

“We will continue to grow our business right here in Southern Illinois, not just because it’s our home, but because it also makes perfect business sense.”

In order to grow and ship millions of feeder insects weekly, the process numbers are staggering. The facility goes through over 40 tons of specially formulated grain diet feed per week. The end result of that is 3 tractor trailer loads of live pet food being shipped all over the world each day, as well as 30 tons per week of insect waste being hauled off by farmers to use in their respective operations.

“We will continue to grow our business right here in Southern Illinois, not just because it’s our home, but because it also makes perfect business sense,” said Goodman.
